The dark theme comes with some advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages:

• Saves energy
• Better readability 
• When the screen is dark, the screen glare is reduced
• Looks amazing. 

Disadvantages:

• Dark themes are not always better for eye strain
• Long pieces of content or text are more challenging to read in dark mode.
